Bhargavi lost her husband to cancer and now she is living with her three kids in Thanjavur. she is earning a living for herself and her three kids by driving an auto in a conservative society inspiring other women. She earned very little after paying off the autorickshaw rent to the owner. It was very difficult for her to fulfill the day to day needs. She looked to buy an auto, and with a loan from Lucky Finance, Bhargavi bought an auto which helped her save the rent.
Bhargavi says, “I have been through a lot of hardships in my life, but I strongly believe that God will lead me through the end. I hope for a better future for me and my family”.
Anbarasi worked as a maid to contribute to the family’s income. Later she worked as a tailor, stitching for people in the neighbourhood. She gained consistent customers and experience as a decent tailor. In this manner, with her tailoring experience, she wanted to teach other ladies. So she was looking for additional capital to buy sewing machines and a few additional supporting equipment to start a class.

Vijaya and her husband have a responsibility to support the family of three. To make ends meet, Vijaya opened a tiny tea-stall along the roadside and she barely managed to eke out a living with only a few customers halting at her shack, mostly truck drivers or travellers on road trips. Because of its dull appearance, even Vijaya would not stay there longer than required. So the couple decided to renovate their shop and pull in some decent customers from the neighbourhood.
